Asterisk in Cuyahoga Falls and Ethnic Grocery Stores.

I headed to Cuyahoga Falls one afternoon to check out some ethnic grocery stores.  And I thought I would give Asterisk another shot.  I was there a few years ago and was not overly impressed with the service.   I have to say they have improved, yay!

Last time I was here, they received one tea cup out of five.  This time the received three tea cups.

They do have some nice regular teas too. If I were to sit and hang out, I may have tried one or two of these teas.

The man who waited on my was very friendly and helpful.  He took a lot of care and time to put my chai latte together.

I do love the look of the cafe.  The exposed brick is very fun and the lighting gives it a gallery feel.

Fun looking pastries.

The chai was good. It is a house blend and I thought it was good.  A bit sweet, but okay.  The prices seem a bit steep, but I guess considering the area it is expected.  I probably won't visit again, but I am glad I did give it another shot.

Then I headed to my favorite Indian grocery store.  It has the best Indian items!  They have the chai clay cups I like.  I heard with tariffs some of these imported prices may jump, so I wanted to get more before they did.  They also have great spices for tea too.

Then I drove just a little further to find this Yemen grocery store...and I was excited to find this Shawarma place right beside it!  I picked up some wonderful humus here.

I had so much fun in the Yemen grocery store!  I was like being back in Iraq.  All these items took me back to Erbil. I found some cookies I had enjoyed while having tea in Erbil that I loved.  I discovered I love date cookies.  This is a must visit if you are in the are!!

I just love these date cookies!

Teas and more teas.

More teas.

A lot of fun treats.  This a great place for cookies and snacks that will pair very well with tea.

Tea pots, carafes, and cups.

I love all the pistachio treats too.  They have it all here.

I almost squealed with delight when I found Kunafa!  I had this the very last night in Erbil and I instantly fell in love. The salty cheese and sweetness of the dessert was unlike anything I had ever had. I am saving it to make some night with some Iraqi tea.

Yummy dates!

10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
