Spring Tea at LincWay in Dalton

I had a really fun tea at LincWay the day before Easter.

I love working with LincWay, if they don't have anyone the day before my tea, they let me come in early and set up.  It is so wonderful to have it done that night before.

I added some spring flowers to the table along with some bunnies.

Everyone got a fun purple butterfly straw too.

As always I give a tasting menu - I don't sell the teas, so I want people to know where they can get the tea if they like them.  I also want them to know what is in the tea if they have any allergies. 

This time I also put a tasting notes page out for everyone too.  This way they could rate the teas they drank.

I have a new banner too...Which can be a fun backdrop for photos.

When I got home I colored eggs with tea for the tables as well.

I wanted to show people that you could color Easter eggs with tea and the fun looks you can create.

I used an herbal berries tea, a black assam tea, and a matcha.

I liked the vintage look they gave me.

The morning of the tea...

I like to make my iced tea concentrate the night before.  I also like to freeze some of the tea as the ice in the tea.  This way the tea is not diluted.

I did an Irish Breakfast tea and then did cold foam with vanilla for everyone so they could try a "Dublin Fog"

I had Harney & Sons, Celebration tea.

My green tea was Bangkok.

Then I did an herbal for those trying to avoid caffeine. 

I had around 22 sign up for the tea.  It was a lot of fun.

I also brought edible butterflies to add to the cold foam.

Lincway does a excellent job with the food.  A fun variety of items.

I did a cold foam option for the Purple Palmer as well.  Then added lavender vanilla sugar on top.  It was really tasty.

I have to say I loved the butterfly straw!!!

After we were done eating, or while we were finishing up, we each got to select a mug and paint it.

These little girls were big fans of the butterfly pea tea...aka, Purple Palmer.

The one gal claimed to have over 6 cups, lol.

We are to give 3 coats to our pottery.  

I love the way these turned out!!!  Bright and cheery.

They fire the items and then in a week we can pick up our pieces.  It really is fun and easy to do.
