I have a new craft! I am making these to sell at the Ohio Tea Festival in September.
I saw these on line. I am making "tea table" for incense burning.
I find this funny, since I don't like the smell of incense, but I do like the look.
I took air dry clay and rolled it out, then put a napkin on it. The same napkin was used on with the yellow clay as the green clay- the napkin took on some of the clay color.
I let the clay form over a small can or jar. It is to look like a table.
I then molded teapots and teacups.
With the teacups I also put a hole in the table and the bottom of the teacup.
When the incense is burning the smoke comes up and out the cup and it looks like it is steaming.
You can kind of see it in the photos below on the orange teacup. There is almost a haze around the orange cup, that is the smoke/steam.
I also made teapots that steam too.
I was pleased to have sold some at the tea festival, I will put the rest out at my next event.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,
