Beauty and Romance of Tea

I find these tea pictures romantic.  There is something serene about a cup of tea and the quietness of drinking it alone.  I love it and find it so beautiful! 

In my dreams this is me...I am enjoying my favorite things- snuggling in blankets,the cold weather and warm tea!!!

If I can not start my tea shop in town, maybe I can start by getting a fun little "shed" in my backyard and serve tea to groups of 4-6 people one at a time!!!  Or maybe I get 3 or 4 sheds, so I can serve multiple groups!

This summer when our office went to Maumee Bay there was an art show.  I met this lady, Michelle Kepford, who makes recycled crafts.  I bought some great journal/notebooks from her.  I also bought a purse made out of a book.   I bought two journals that I gave to my nephews that were made from McDonalds containers. They are cute little books that they can draw in at church and they Velcro shut.  I also got one for my niece that is made from a Cheerio box.
 Another fun one I purchased- it is made from a coffee filter container.  I have contacted Michelle to see if she can make some for me from Tea boxes. What fun little hostess gifts these will make, or stocking stuffers.  And she said yes!!!  I am soooo excited.  I have been saving tea boxes and I am hoping I can send her the tea boxes and she can make me journals.  She was selling these journals for a variety of prices..   When I have my tea shop, I want to sell this journals!!!!

The paper is really nice and thick.  I would say that there are probably 30-40 pages in this journal

Here are some boxes I plan on using.  If you are local to me and you have tea boxes you are not using, you can pass them along to me :)  I think one of the best will be the big box from Red Rose.
I think it will be great fun to give a gift of tea and a journal!

Robin sent me some tea this morning.  I have had Peach Tranquility by itself and I did not like it.  But, mixed with this Strawberry Rose Champagne Tea it was AWESOME!!  I had three cups this morning.  It is fruity and smooth,  I loved it!!!

I was so excited to find this tea at the Discount Outlet store in Massillon last night.  It so reminds me of my younger days.  My mom used to make iced tea with this tea.  I opened the bag inside the tin and the smell tool me back to my youth.  It has an amazing mint smell.  I love this tea!!!!  It is great warm or cold!

Tonight I found my way to the Discount Outlet!!  I was proud of myself for finding it.  when I went with my sister Jill, we have driven around so much that day, I had no clue where we were-hahaha.  It was only 3 minutes out of my way home, going home the back way from Canton.  It is right off 21 on 1st St.  It is open until 9 pm.

Okay, this is what I ended up with, I thought I did pretty good. I was sooo excited to find Boston's Mint Tea, my mom used to use that when I was little to make tea.  I also have been wanting to try Harney & Son Vanilla Grapefruit- so I was thrilled to find it.  Also I love Mighty Tea Jasmine, I was pumped to find more tonight.
