I purchased this strawberry, apple loose leaf tea while in Spain working with some teens.  I have not tried it warm yet, but I love it cold.  It is refreshing and has a very nice taste too it.

 

I also used it in my Kombucha and I liked the fruity flavor it added.

Detroit Michigan Airport Starbucks....Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher

MI airport- the only thing I ever get at Starbucks is the Passion iced tea- half the syrup. Today I had a gift card so I tried the Venti caffeinated (I've been up 30 hours straight) Very Berry Hibiscus iced tea.  It was not the greatest thing- there is a strange after taste- not stevia, but something like that.  I will stick with my non-caffeinated Passion tea for half the price and 100% better flavor. 🌺☕️🌺☕️🌺.  But- hey you never know until you try it and a free gift card is the time to try it.

Okay!!! Not impressed- I asked the lady if the refresher had green coffee in it, she said no, it was just caffeinated- I looked it up on line, it has green coffee in it- that is what I'm tasting

I love life and making memories.  I loved the opportunity to spend time in Spain working with some teens.  I was able to give back to some people who mean so much to me.  I went home so blessed by these people.  It amazes me when you do something hoping to bless them, but in the end you walk away the one blessed.  God is so good.

I enjoyed a hot cup of tea...yes, hot- even on a 90 degree day. Hot tea cools you off- it's a scientifically proven fact :)   I think I may have surprised the "bartender" ordering a hot tea, lol

 

The plus is that it was just a cool memory sitting at an outdoor café drinking tea and watching people pass by.

 

 

Hills Brothers Tea at the Costa de Sol House Hotel in Spain

In the morning at the hotel I struggled to find great tea.  I brought my own from home, and drank that at times.  This tea was okay, it was just black tea.... I added milk and it tasted better, but there was nothing special about it.

 

I enjoyed Spain- I was there to work with some teens.  The heat was intense, but other than that I liked it a lot.  The people were so friendly and kind!

Teacup Ride day #2 at Dollywood

So last night I rode the teacup ride with my niece.  If you go after 3pm the night before, the next day is free!!!!!  You can't beat free!  And since the ride was nice, why not ride it again. I had neck surgery and I can no longer ride the roller coasters that I love.  The teacup ride is very gentle.  I did not spin the middle wheel- so I just rode slowly around.  I felt about 80 years old, lol

 

The entire family was there today- celebrating my parents 50th anniversary.

I purchased these three tea shots at the Massillon Tea Surplus store. How could I pass up .69!  If for nothing else, it came me something new to try and something new to blog about.

I then decided to do a tea tasting.  I have admitted in the past that I am not a huge green tea fan- unless it is flavored.  Well, I went for it.  I tried all three- none of the cans did I finish.  But, I was surprised that the matcha was my favorite.  They were all very "earthy/grassy" tasting. Now, if you like green tea you would probably love these.  You would probably find them cold and refreshing.  I just can't get past the earthiness of them.

Spain Cup on Teacup Tuesday, from Ronda

 

While working with some teens in Spain, we took an excursion to Ronda.  What a beautiful town! I purchased this mosaic mug from a cute sup there. It comes with it's own infusion cup and a coaster, that can also act as a lid!  And only 6 Euors!

 

This town was so adorable!  I felt like I could get lost here and be happy with that.

I have to laugh when someone gets a tea drink and they don't like it- so they give it to me! I have to say this new drink taste like bubble gum- not good!!!!!

Costa de Sol Hotel tea in Spain, Hills Brothers Tea

 

While in Spain I wanted to try as much tea as I could.  I was disappointed that there really was not much tea to be found.

I tried black tea one morning and then this other tea- I am assume it was a green tea since it had a green label- hahahaha  It was okay...it was just tea, nothing exciting about it.

 

 

The breakfasts at the hotel were REALLY good!!!
