YY Time, Mango green jasmine tea

I was in Cleveland the other day visiting friends. As usual, since I was in the Cleveland area I wanted to check out the Asian Grocery Store- I love finding fun tea items there.  I also had seen a Facebook post about YY Time and I wanted to see what it was all about.

YY Time is across the street from the Asian Plaza.

3004 Payne Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44114, United States Call:216-291-7533

This place is super cute on the outside and inside.  I went in hoping for a real tea service.  I have yet to find a place in Cleveland that does Chinese Tea ceremonies...I was hoping this was the place.

This was not the place for tea ceremonies, but they did have excellent fruit and milk teas.

I do want to come back again and try a meal here sometime.  It has a great vibe, and the decor is really authentic looking.  Everywhere I looked I enjoyed the art and sculptures.

Stunning Entry...

Amazing looking wall...

I got this incredibly delicious Mango green jasmine tea.  It was so great!

I am a fan of mangos, and I love green jasmine too.  This was a perfect combination.  I liked the fruit smoothie mango in addition to the tea.

I then headed to the grocery store.  Even if I don't find what I am looking for, I always find something.

Earlier in the day... I had lunch with some friends.  I met these gals last year and at the time they were living in GA.  And now, they live in Cleveland.  It was so fun to reconnect with them.  We went to Chipotle, a candy shop, and for tea at Starbucks.

Days with friends are ALWAYS a good idea!

This car??  Why??

We did enjoy the candy shop and walking around. I saw lots of candy from my past.  It took me back immediately to the 80's and summer at the park.  I can remember the concession stand at the park selling a lot of these older candies.

Then we headed to Starbucks for Lavender Matcha Lattes.

The flavor in the matcha is very nice.  I just always hate how much sugar is added!  I also know I can make it at home better. for less- lol.

90th birthday tea party

Time to celebrate my aunt who is turning 90!

My aunt is such a wonderful lady.  A great example to us all and a special encouragement to me as a godly, single, never married lady.

The family came together to celebrate her for the weekend.  We kicked off the events with a tea party!

Sister and Brother.

So fun to have us all together for this special weekend.

Hope you take time to celebrate the special people in your life.

We made her amazing lemon bread.  Had scones, Earl Grey Milano cookies, butter cookies, and more!

Chicken salad croissants, cucumbers, and stuffed baby tomatoes.

I prepared the tea...and of course did her favorite- Decaf Red Rose.  I also did Harney & Sons Soho, also Ohio Tea's Vanilla Chai, and then an iced Ohio Tea Artic Raspberry

I made my favorite Scones from Scratch.
Blueberry and Milk Chocolate Peppermint.

We cousins had fun recreating old pictures together.  An Easter photo from 1976... as well as a Christmas photo from 1980.

We love our aunt!!!!

What a fun weekend to celebrate....and drink lots of tea.

I sure had fun making lots of fun tea.  Both my gal cousins sell Arbonne, so I had to make Matcha lattes for them!!

Cheers to Matcha!

Saturday morning was Arabic Tea with scones...
