Ohio Tea Co - Vanilla Mint Chai

A friend gave me this tea as a gift....and I love it.  This is a great chai and a great mint tea. It is like a thin mint in a cup.

If you get a chance to stop in to Canton to the tea shop you need too!!!  If you sign up up for their news letter- every month you visit them you get a free 1/2 oz of  the tea of your choice.   Also if you sign up with an account and you order tea on line and spend more than $4 for tea shipping is free.

I made this chai with a warm almond milk.  You can use any milk to hot water.  But with a chai I prefer a warm milk, just be sure you do not scald the milk.

Ingredients:

black tea, natural vanilla flavor, peppermint, cinnamon, ginger, cardamon, cloves, peppercorn ,

Origin:

Blended in Ohio

So delicious!!!

I took a thermos of the chai over to my aunts to drink while we decorated Christmas cookies.

I bet it's been 10 years since I decorated cookies.  It was a great Christmas memory.

My cousin and I decorating cookies.

THAI Iced Tea, Sukho Thai

After Christmas, it was girls day.  We decided to do Thai.  The food at Sukho is amazing!!  I ordered the Thai Iced Tea.  I have had it before and I like it.  It completely reminds me of Thai Iced Tea that I had in Thailand.  I was taken back to the wonderful trip to Bangkok, minus the stifling heat.

My mom had this great dish in a pineapple.

Nothing better to me than being with family.  I love girls day out.  These are the specialist ladies to me!!! I cherish days like this.

Phuel cafe, Bubble tea, Cleveland

I have always wanted to get my picture with one of the Cleveland signs.  There are 6 Cleveland signs all over the city.

I was given some Les Mis tickets as a thank you gift.  I was pretty excited, since I loved Les Mis!  I saw in New York and in London.

My parents are fan of Les Mis too, so they bought their own tickets and came along too.

Love the chandelier that hangs at the entrance of Play House Square. The playhouse area is very impressive!  I was super impressed.

We decided to grab a quick bite near the theater.  We all got crepes.  I then splurged and bought some bubble tea.  It was very tasty!!!  I got a jasmine tea mango with milk.  It was very well made.

lots of options....

I also purchased a crepe.

But first, tea

My co-worker got me this fun sign. She knows it true!  I drink tea all the time. I usually come to work with a bottle of my homemade Kombucha, 2 different ice teas.  I need my tea to function :)

Don't you know it!!!

Here is a shot I took on the way to work the other morning.  It was a beautiful fall day!!

Arctic Mood, Cosmo tea

My friend Barb and her husband went to Iceland for their 30th wedding anniversary.  She brought me some fun Iceland tea back with her.

One side is in English one is in Icelandic.

I really enjoyed this tea.  I love the fruity hibiscus and blueberry flavors.

Thai Thai Christmas Boba Tea

So, on my Facebook feed this popped up.  Christmas Boba Tea!  I thought it sounded fun.  I texted a few friends to see who was up for a spontaneous adventure.  My friend, Heidi, happened to be free so we headed the hour up to Lakewood.

Thai Thai is a great little Thai restaurant. It may be somewhat on the small side, but the charm and food make up for the lack of seating.  It was neat to see how many locals came in.  Everyone who came in seemed to know each other.  They all talked and hugged, it gave a wonderful small town feel.

The menu was written in chalk on the wall.  So many things sounded delicious.

There was also a printed menu. :)

Because the restaurant was so busy, we had to wait to be seated.  As we waited to be seated we ordered the yummy Christmas Boba tea.

It was like a Peppermint ice cream milkshake with bobas, whip cream on top with sprinkles, a candy cane on the side, peppermint and chocolate around the rim with a ginger snap cookie on top.
Each tea had a ornament on it as well.

The bubble tea was super tasty.  It was also $8.00, a little pricey...okay a lot pricey.  But, a fun experience.

I figured for $8 I should take lots of pictures. :)

I totally recommend the Thai Thai Restaurant and their street food!!  The bubble tea was delicious, albeit a pit pricey.  t was a great spontaneous adventure.

I ordered spring rolls as an appetizer, they were so good. The price for the food was all very reasonable.

I ordered the Massaman Curry.  It was outstanding!! The mix of spices and flavors it was so authentic.  I reminded me of being in Thailand.  I sure wish it was not an hour away.
