Sure House, Strawberry Coconut Matcha...and making our own blend at work

So, I was told that Sure House was doing a special summer matcha drink.  I figured I needed to check it out, lol!

I ran in on Monday and they were out of the Strawberries... I then got the vanilla coconut matcha for myself and another co-worker.  These were good matcha drinks.....but, I wanted the strawberries.

I went back on Tuesday and they were still out of strawberries.
I went back on Wednesday and they had strawberries!!!
It was so good, I went back again on Thursday!!!

Pricey drink, but when you have rewards it is a great treat.  I love the fresh strawberries!!!  The price is the reason for the 4 tea cups.

Super simple but delicious and healthy drink.  Strawberries, coconut milk and matcha.  Matcha is so good for you!!!  It is full of antioxidants, boosts energy, helps creativity, it's good for your brain, and your heart health too!

They were so good, multiple gals in the office asked me to pick them up drinks, lol!!!

We then made some at work with Strawberry Freezer jam- soooo good!!

  NOT SALSA!!  FREEZER JAM!!!

Doughin' Crazy, Bubble Tea in Sandusky OH

My friend and I headed on a Kayak weekend.  We visited lovely Vermilion, then stayed in a tiny cabin in Huron and then went to Sandusky.

So many fun places to visit.  We really enjoyed our time in Sandusky.
We are lunch outside on a balcony and watched people, the water, and boats.
We then found a tea shop and had some fun bubble tea.

The tea place is inside an old theatre and there are lots of fun shops in there and even axe throwing.  It was fun and cute.

I like the shop, it was really nice.  Across from them was a barbeque place too.

The lady at doughin Crazy was super nice and helpful.  The prices were decent too.  The thing I really liked is that it was real iced tea in the drink and not a powered mix.  I got a half iced tea and half lemonade with mango bubbles.  I also loved that my straw changed colors when the straw got cold.

We also had a great pettycab driver who took us around the town.  We loved it. It was by donation.  We had a probably 10 minute ride and he pointed out lots of sites and gave us history information too.  He said he and his wife started this business this summer- there way to give back to the community.

It's a cute town- this is music ally.

Tea Time- Very Grapefruit Boom Tea Slushy and Mochi bread

This was a tea slushy and I loved it!!!

There was the tea flavor, the slushy flavor and it was delicious!  These was a green tea that was super refreshing.  The prices are good, the staff is super friendly and the store is clean.  I would give them 5 out of 5 tea cups!!

I was also super excited to get the Mochi bread!!  I tried the other day and they were closed.  These sweet, chewy bread balls are yummy...and gluten free.

I have tried twice to make them and they were a fail...so I guess will keep coming here for these treats.  It is nice that it right next to my chiropractor too.

Mochi bread is traditionally Japanese, but you will find them in other Asian countries too.  Sometimes even with a filling like red beans.

Crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy inside.

Wedding Iced Tea Bar

I can now check off wedding reception of my list!  I did an iced tea bar for a friend's wedding reception.
It was at my favorite place too, Beulah Beach!

It was a warm day at the beach, but the breeze was wonderful!  The wedding was outside at the camp's outdoor chapel.  It was beautiful and God honoring.

The reception was in the youth pavilion.  We kept the garage doors down until the guests arrived, the cross breeze was blowing everything around.
Once those doors were open, it was the perfect temp.  Since it was almost 90 degrees that day I was worried I would be too hot.  But, it was great.

I provided the iced tea section of the drink area.

I had a sweet mint tea, the butterfly pea tea, and an unsweetened black tea.  I also then had lemons, sweeteners and various kinds of syrups to sweeten the drinks.

I have been trying several black teas to find the perfect unsweet iced tea.  I have now settled on PG Tips.  It is not too over powering or bold.  I will continue to scout of the teas I use.  I have also tried Tetley and Luzianne.

The mint tea is local, Mint Brook- Meadow Farm

The butterfly tea is a personal blend that I make with lavender, mint, butterfly pea blossoms and lemonade.

The decor was light, airy, and romantic.  It was just beautiful.  Lots of African baskets and plants everywhere.

Not only did I provide the tea, I got to attend the wedding and reception too.
They had Chipotle caterer- it was yummy.

The name markers were super fun too- it was also your favor.

These guys I have known since their birth- it was so much fun to see them and celebrate this day with the family.

Enjoying friends and family is always a good idea!!!
I love serving tea and being apart of these special events!!

Let me know if you have an event where I could come serve tea.
