Birthday freebies

I am celebrating 51 years of age!!!

I am still recovering from shoulder surgery, so I have to rely on my sister to drive me around, lol.  But, that is typical- on my birthday I am given the day off work and I do usually spend it with my younger sister.  We like to go out to lunch and then pick up birthday freebies.

We went for Thai at Osaka in Wooster.  They have $7.95 lunch specials.

I ordered the spicy basil and Jill the Pad Thai.

Then we headed to Panera and I got a free pastry.  I got a blueberry scone.

Then we headed in the rain to Starbucks.  I got a free cheese and fruit special from the deli counter.

Then we saw the Chik fil A truck and I went to get a free cookie.  They are not able to honor the birthday special, but were kind enough to give me a free cookie anyway.

Then we headed to Caribou.  It is fun to have a Caribou in Wooster now.  I got ordered an egg flatbread and then for my birthday I got a free large chai.

Lastly, we stopped at Orrville Dunkin.  They were having a bad day.  I tried to get egg bites and they were out.  Then egg sandwich and they were out of that too.  I also tried to get iced tea and they were out of that too.  I ended up with a green tea.

I do need to talk to them about their iced tea.  They over brew it and it is bitter.

Over all it was a great day to be out with my sister.  Yes, it rained and I am still not able to drive, but we had fun together.
