Did you know that you could make stickers at the Wayne College 3D lab in Orrville, Ohio??
Wayne College has a 3D lab that has a lot of options for you to use... mostly free, but there are some items that have minimal cost attached.
I have used the 3D printers with my nephews to make geocache hides. I have used the laser printer most. I have etched in glass, slate, wood, and metal....all for free.
This day I used the stickers for the first time.
Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
"Walk-in use of the lab is available. However, if you call ahead (Tom Hammond, 330-684-8722, tjh1@uakron.edu), we can ensure that support staff are ready and available if you need us. The 3D Lab is located in Room A-120 of the main building, off Smucker Road (not the Student Life Building). Upon entering the front entrance, walk down the main hallway, then turn 180 degrees when you reach the library. Walk down the ramp, turn right to follow the hallway. This is lower A-wing. At the other end of the hall, you will see a large UAWC3 banner with 3D printed items in a display case. You found us!" the website
Tom was super helpful and explained what we were doing. We took my logo and put it in a program and then I was able to make my stickers.
I was able to make any size I wanted up to 1'. I measured the items I wanted stickers for and then just made a bunch of other sizes just to have,
The printer makes the stickers in less than 10 minutes.
The foot long page of stickers comes out already precut and ready to stick.
You can also make banners, posters, t-shirts, and sweatshirts. The possibilities are endless. You are only limited by your own creativity.
Check out the items that cost...
