EL&N Iced Whisked Pistachio Matcha

Here was a surprise tea that I was not expecting.

Walking to Harrods through the beautiful Covent Gardens.

We walked to Harrods and were about an hour early.  This was on me!  I did not check what time they opened, so we were about an hour early.

We walked around the shops around the area.  I then spotted a little cafe that I wanted to check out.  They had amazing look pastries and drinks.

Here are their specialty drink menu.

I instantly knew I wanted the pistachio matcha.  Last year when I was Kurdistan I had pistachio and some drinks and fell in love with it.  I can't believe they have not adopted that in the states yet.

This place was adorable.

Iced Pistachio Whisked Matcha
Ceremonial grade Matcha whisked with pistachio sauce and ice cold milk, topped with pistachio pieces
£8.95

This drink was great...not sure if £8.95 was a realistic price, but I know I am in London and I am at a fancy cafe- so I over looked the price.  But the price is the reason for the 4 teacups.  The staff was super friendly and helpful.  I really enjoyed sitting at the cafe and drinking my matcha.

I sat outside and watched the cars and people walk by.  People watching is so fun.

Here we sit, just waiting for Harrods to open.

When traveling you need to be prepared for anything...trying new things is one of my favorite unexpected things!  I was not prepared to have an extra hour this morning but we made the best of it and discovered a new cafe and looked in some fun windows.  Roll with the punches with grace and joy... and this one was easy one...not much of a punch at all, lol.
