I got a new face mask!

I have to say I spent over 2 hours going through Etsy looking for someone who had a tea pot or tea cup face mask.  I finally found one...and I love it!

How cute are these tea pots?  The lady who makes these face masks said she collects tea pots and her finance proposed to her using a tea pot.  I love that!

The mask was $6.00 (plus shipping) and I was pleased the quality and workmanship.  Shipping was really fast too.  Instead of elastic, she uses hair ties, they work great.  The material is super soft.

It's a big day with lots happening with lots happening.  

      

I am fever free, so I am good to work.  Can't believe it is day 23!!

I love this tea- I have it in loose leaf and in sachets...it's the same tea.   Both are full of the tea goodness.  As soon as you open the lid to the tin you smell the lemongrass and coconut.  It's great.

This is a green tea, so you want your water temp to be less than 200 degrees. I usually do 185 degrees.  You want to steep for 3 minutes.

This green tea is really good!!  It does not have that earthy green taste that some teas can have.  It has these great notes of vanilla, coconut, lemongrass, and ginger.  I enjoyed two cups of this tea today with my Uncle Jay bobblehead and my Buckingham Palace Guards.

I enjoyed the breakfast treat that my friend brought me yesterday.  It was really good with my tea.

My mom texted me that she was in town and wanted to grab a cup of tea.  I made her a Purple Mint tea from Kenya.  I thought since she lived in Kenya for a few months she would like this tea made in Kenya. ...and she did!!

Matcha Frozen Latte, Dunkin Donuts

I took a nasty fall the other day, hence the bruised and swelled eyes.  I went to the chiropractor to get adjusted.  I have to say my chiropractor is amazing, they do pressure points and really work on the problem.  They always make me feel so much better!!

On the way I home I stopped at Dunkin for a little treat.  I have to admit, this is probably not the most healthy, but I do enjoy this matcha latte. I asked for a shot of vanilla in it as well.

These lattes are really tasty.  They have a bit of sweetness and yet a slight earthy matcha flavor.  I hate to know what the sugar content is.  So, this is a treat I will not often indulge in.  I do know that they have 304 calories.  

I drink tea because I like the taste and I like that it is healthy for me.  I have given up soda because of the sugar, so drinking matching with 304 calories is a wise choice for me- but it is a nice treat.

When I got home, I had to go back to work. I enjoyed the rest of my drink...until Earl Grey finished it off for me, lol.

Day 22, Featuring Justea Purple Rain

It's already day 22 of working from home.  I can't believe it has been almost a month.  It's been a good month.  Different, but good.  I hope you are able to find the good in all of this too.

Tomorrow is my Uncle Jay's 91st birthday!!!  He lived in Kenya for a few years working with his Mennonite Ministry...my mom even lived there with him for a few months.

This tea is really good.  It has great fruity notes. I love hibiscus and this tea blends it so well with the lemongrass, apple and purple tea.  There is a tartness to it, but I love it.  

I have not figured out the purple tea flavor, but I like this tea!  Sometimes when I drink a tea, I can tell by taste if it is an oolong, green, or black tea... and sometimes not, but I have not been able to figure out the purple notes...not yet anyway.

It was a good day.  Work went smoothly, I got new fun tea pot face mask and two visitors. 

  

My friend learned to crochet, just last night, and she made me these adorable tea coasters!!

I love these bright colorful coasters- and I love how they match my tea cups!

Then my co-worker stopped by and dropped some goodies and picked up tea.  I am not a hugger, but it's been over a month since I have seen her- I wanted to hug her!!  We social distanced and did not hug.  It was so fun to see her and catch up a little.

I made her my new tea from Teas & Such, Lemonade Punch.

Sure House, Orrville, Chai Latte with Chili

Today was day 5 of not leaving my house.  

The cat and I were starting to go stir crazy watching for signs of life outside of the house.

I decided to pop into my office and see what was happening there.  And I am very glad I did, I received an order that we are no longer allowed in the office until April 6, maybe longer.

I had tried Sure House chai and I was not a big fan of it.  But, my coworker told me she got it with chili in it and loved it.  So, I got her and I the chai with chili and she was right, it was fantastic!!!! I got my other friend a regular chai.  It is so nice to have this treat.

Visiting my friend Deb at the office.  She and I share our job.  She got selected to stay and work in the office to print our documents for those of us who are working from home.  I miss her and and give her a BIG SHOUT out for gong to the office everyday!!!

Odd to only have like 4 people at the office when there are normally over 20 of us there.  I have to say I love working from home and would do it forever if I could, but I do miss my co-workers.  Not sure when we will get to all work together, but I am so blessed to have a company that lets us work from home.

I got another product test.  This is a really nice milk frother.

Super easy to use...add your milk and froth.  

You can use cold milk or warm.  The benefit of cold milk is that it does help cool down the heat from the tea.  The downside is the drink is cooled a lot faster.  The upside of warm milk is your drink stays warmer longer.  The downside to warm milk is that you have warm it first.

You can see below how much the froth has risen.  Above is before the froth and below is after it's frothed.

Be sure to keep the frother in the mug while it's on...or you will get milk EVERYWHERE!
