Day 45 QBubble Tea, coconut bubble tea

Happy International Tea Day
Day 45 of working from home.  I am fever free and ready to go!

Today we are going to Taiwan for Bubble Tea.  Happy International Tea Day.

I love Bubble Tea.  I was first introduced to it while visiting my sister in Portland, OR.  I can remember thinking it was so good, I could not wait to have another.
Since then I have had bubble tea all over the world- US, Germany, Thailand, and Malaysia. It is so fun and it seems there are so many ways to make it.

I have Mango, Taro, and Coconut flavors from Qbubble.

I really like Qbubble powder for my bubble tea mix- they have great flavors.
I used to use the tapiccoa balls- but those take while to make.  So, for the couple of months I have been using bursting boba bubble.  And just recently I got the jelly's to try.

Today I am featuring the Coconut Bubble Tea.  I put the powder in the cup, I add just enough hot water to dissolve the powder, then I fill with cold water and ice.  You can also drink the bubble tea hot too.

There are different options for the "bubbles".  There are Tapioca Balls, Bursting Boba, and Jelly's.  Today I am using coconut mango jelly's.

This bubble tea is so good. I love the mix of coconut and mango.

Qbubble Tea are the number one wholesale supplier of Bubble Tea in New York City.
I see on May 12th they had an online Bubble Tea class- I am so sorry I missed that!  I will have to watch for the next one!

Flavor options- Cantaloup Powder, Chai Tea Powder, Green Apple Powder, Green Honeydew Powder, Japanese Green Tea Powder, Jasmine Green Tea Powder, Milk Tea Powder, Papaya Powder, Premium Bubble Tea powder, Taro Powder, Thai Tea Powder

Thanks to whoever dropped off these to go cups!  I was in a Zoom meeting for work and found these on my porch.  THANKS!!!

My office sent us employees all a basked of fruit today- what a great surprise!!  What a great company to work for.

My mom stopped in to try my new coconut bubble tea with mango and coconut jelly's- she said it was her favorite bubble tea yet.

My friend Heidi stopped over and picked up a bubble tea too.

I got a text from cousin, who was working at a food truck today.  She said that our friend, Bonita- who runs the food truck, said that she would trade me food for bubble tea!  DEAL!!  Ashley was kind enough to be the go between and making the delivery and pick up.  I got a pulled pork sandwich and mashed potatoes with pulled pork- Bonita was soo generous.

My final customers of the day were these friends from church. Aaron was making a delivery to a neighbor, so it was fun he and the boys stopped by.

Day 44, Featuring - For Teas Sake- Hibiscus Mint

Day 44 of working for home.  I am making the best of what could be a tough situation and I 'm thriving.  I like to think that we are all in the same storm- just different boats.  Hopefully you are doing well in your boat.

I am fever free and ready to work!

Today I am featuring For Teas Sake, Hibiscus Mint.  I like this tea warm and iced.

Look at all those chunks of goodness!!!

INGREDIENTS:
Apple pieces, hibiscus petals, rosehip pieces, ginger pieces and peppermint.

When I make this tea hot, I set my electric kettle to 212 degrees.  This is an herbal tea so you want your water over 200.  You also can steep your tea for 5-6 minutes.  I tend to steep for 3 minutes and get two cups of tea out of one serving.

This tea has great notes of hibiscus and mint- it doesn't matter if you make it hot or cold, you will find the wonderful flavor.  You will get the tingle of mint in your mouth and on your throat.  You also get the fruit apple note and the tart hibiscus.  I think this is a great blend. I love it!!!

I also enjoy this tea cold.  I put in 9 teaspoons of tea  in hot water and let steep for 15 minutes.  Then I put the pitcher in the fridge to cool.  I love the mint added to this hibiscus.   This is really refreshing.

Here is your laugh for the day...

I had some visitors stop by for tea.

These beautiful ladies are my cousins!

And these beautiful ladies are my neighbors.

Always fun to share tea with friends

Day 43 Boh Tea 2 In 1 Original Tea

Day 43, into my 9th week of working from home!!  I am still fever free, so I am cleared to work.

Today I am featuring BOH tea.
I discovered BOH tea when I was on a mission trip in Malaysia.  They make this tea in the Cameron Highlands of Malaysia.

I did not visit the plantation, it was a 3 hour car ride, but I didn't have a car.  To take the bus, it was a 6 ride away, maybe next time.

They have all different kinds of instant tea. I stayed away from the 3 in 1, which adds sugar. But, the 2 in 1 was really good instant tea.
The 2 in 1 is instant black tea with non-dairy creamer.

I bought a bag of it and I should have bought more.   Or at least more flavors.  They have an instant tea with ginger, one with caramel, one with vanilla, one that is regular tea no sugar and no non-dairy creamer, a green matcha one, one with oats, one with tea and white coffee, and then they also have instant iced tea ones too.

I picked up some fun BOH tea when in Malaysia.  Today I am featuring the instant tea.
The 2 in 1 is instant black tea with non-dairy creamer.

Just empty one sachet of BOH tea mix into a cup or mug. Pour in boiling water, stir, and it’s ready to serve. So easy!

This tea is creamy and smooth.  I really enjoy the creamer in there.  Not necessarily healthy, so it is a treat when I do make this tea.

I had some friends stop by for Bubble Tea today.  As always the Kettle is On while I work from home.  Free tea to anyone who stops by.  Wait on my porch and I will make you a free cup of tea (of your choice) to go.

Day 42 Featuring, The Tao of Tea Chrysanthemum Flowers

Day 42 and I am fever free.  I feel really blessed to have spent all this time at home and have been able to work.  It has been great to share tea with you while I am home.

Today I am featuring, The Tao of Tea- Chrysanthemum Flowers.

I discovered Chrysanthemum Flower tea when I was in Malaysia.  You can get cans of chrysanthemum tea out of the soda machine- right beside the soda.  It was unique and different- I enjoyed it.

The Tao of Tea sells the Chrysanthemum flowers.  I discovered The Tao of Tea a few years ago and I really enjoy their tea.  Then in 2018, my sister and I went to their store and had lunch there.  It was delicious!!!

The Tao of Tea in Portland, OR

NO left overs here.  The food was so great.

Straight chrysanthemum flowers!!

Just add 5-6 flowers to hot water and steep.  This is herbal tea, so it is caffeine free.  Heat the water to around 200 degrees and steep for 3-4 minutes.

I like the smooth, buttery flavor.  I got two great cups out of one serving.  There is no floral or earthy flavor.  It's really unique and I enjoy it a lot.

As always I have the kettle on while I am home.  I am offering FREE tea to go while I work from home.

Heavenly Tea Leaves, Vanilla Rose Oolong

From the website,

"Loose Leaf Oolong Tea

Oolong is a partially oxidized tea known for its unique shape and bold aroma. Moderately caffeinated and with an intensity somewhere between black and green tea, oolong is a great option for those looking for an invigorating and delicious beverage. Oolong teas go through some of the most complex processing, developed over many centuries, of any tea type. For this reason, they contain some of the most complex, nuanced flavor profiles of any tea: generally floral, toasty, and/or slightly sweet. Heavenly Tea Leaves line of loose leaf oolong teas features traditional oolongs, single-origin oolongs, along with custom flavored varieties like Rose Oolong and Jasmine Oolong, among others."

The leaves are beautiful- they are rolled like a ball.

The aroma is sweet and the vanilla comes through right away.

This a really nice oolong.  I don't get the rose, but the vanilla and oolong play really well together.  There is a sweetness with vanilla, a slight floral note- but not rose and the typical oolong flavor that I am used to.  I love it.
The oolong is a nice rolled leaf, once in the water the leaves unfurl.

I got two really great cups of tea out of one serving.
I made this tea with 185 degree water and I steeped the first cup for 3 minutes and the second for a little over 4 minutes.
