    1. Jenni-
so funny when I answered your post below I did not know it was you!!! hahaha
One of my favorite loose leaf is Teavana. On the bag it tells you how much loose leaf to add and how long to steep it depending on if it is herbal tea, black, green, etc.

    1. Jennifer,
I am pleased you enjoy my blog. I am having fun writing it. When I make loose leaf tea I use the Teavana Perfect TeaMaker- 16 oz. I blogged about it in an earlier post. I plan on blogging more about it soon. It is about $20.00. You can buy a variety of tea infusers for a lot less too. I like the Teavana teamaker because it is handy. You put your loose leaf tea in it (the tin or bag of tea will tell you exactly how much to add) I then add the water and let it steep. Once the tea is steeped you set the teamaker on the mug and it drains down. I can usally get two cups of tea out of one portion of tea. You set the teamaker aside with the leaves in it and then it is ready for the next cup. When buying an infuser I would look for a mesh one. The tin style have bigger holes and sometimes loose leaf tea will fall through the holes. The mesh will keep it all together. I hope that helps!!!! I will be posting more information soon- keep your eyes out for it.
      thanks!!!!

  6. How great of Harney and Son to donate tea for your blog! Lehmans used to sell that tea and I really enjoyed it but they don't carry it any longer. Like how you gave instructions to steep the different kinds of tea - some take longer than others. That was interesting.
